1. License

Potens grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software on up to three (3) computers that you own or control, provided they are not used simultaneously by different people.

2. Your music is yours

Any music, MIDI, chord progressions or audio you create with the software belong to you. You may use them commercially without paying royalties or crediting Potens.

3. Restrictions

  • You may not share, resell, rent, or distribute the software or your license key.
  • You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the software, or bypass its license activation, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • You may not use the software’s own presets, chord libraries or other built-in content to create a competing product.

4. Activation

The software requires a one-time online activation with a license key. During activation we receive your license key, a non-personal identifier of your computer, and the software version, to prevent unauthorised use. You can deactivate a computer to free up an activation. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Updates

We may release updates. Unless stated otherwise, updates within the same major version are free for license holders.

6. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach this Agreement. License keys that have been shared, refunded or charged back may be deactivated.

7. No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Please test it with your system before relying on it in critical work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Potens’ total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software.

9. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
